Welcome. With warmth, acceptance and scientific rigor, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve greater clarity, self-efficacy and competence. Many of my clients find a great sense of peace, ease and empowerment through testing, evaluation and cognitive rehabilitation.
Professional Summary
I am a board certified neuropsychologist with unique expertise in brain-behavior relationships. I have over 15 years of clinical experience that includes psychological and neuropsychological assessments of individuals with highly complex medical, psychiatric, and neurodegenerative histories. Having served veterans at the VA Portland Health Care System for 14 years, I have extensive training in polytrauma, or the comorbid processes of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I spent over a decade in research examining veterans with a history of a mild TBI and the efficacy of cognitive rehabilitation in this population. In addition to my clinical work, I have experience conducting disability, fitness for duty, and forensic evaluations.

Advanced Training
I earned both my master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Portland Healthcare System.
I became a licensed psychologist in the State of Oregon (license no. 2404) in 2013 and earned board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2022.

Integrated Approach
Beyond neuropsychology, I am proficient in many evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In my private practice, I draw upon the latest research in mental health and neuroscience to inform treatment planning while taking a client-centered, thorough and communicative approach.

Outside of my clinical work, I love communing with Timbers fans at Providence Park and exploring nature in the amazing Pacific Northwest with family and friends.
